Criminal Defense
We are trial attorneys. While many cases are resolved through plea negotiations, we can and will take a case to trial if that’s what it takes to get the best possible result. We routinely handle all types of criminal matters ranging from traffic violations to capital murder in state and federal court.
Student Disciplinary Proceedings
The attorneys at Thomas, Ferguson & Beskind, LLP are strong advocates for students finding themselves in need of counsel in student disciplinary proceedings. Most cases will be resolved in an administrative hearing, but cases that are serious in nature may be forwarded to the university’s conduct board for resolution. Typically there’s only 5 days notice of a hearing given, so time is of the essence.
